Picture resolution in email marketing is low

I have an issue with picture resolution in email marketing. If i put in a picture section in an email the resolution is downsized to maximum with of the email 660 or 700 px. This picture looks bad in a retina display with high resolution. If i put columns of insert a picture with html code the resolution is much higer, looks like wix dont downsize at all these pictures. Do anyone have an idea to get better quality with the picture frame option?
