Please help with setting up a mask image for a print on demand page .

Thanks to “GOS” answering my previous posts I now have the code sorted .
I am still working on the print on demand example .
My question is regarding setting up the mask field . I have all the same elements as the example . ( container box, blank image field ,mask image, product image, text field )
how do I combine the images to form the mask field and then what order do I overlay them
Thanks in advance for any help

That is in the tutorial description.

We created the preview image of the product by overlapping elements inside a container, in the following order (from top to bottom):

  • The image of the product on the CustomProduct page, which comes from the Mask field

  • A text element that will display the visitor’s custom text

  • An empty image element that will display the visitor’s uploaded photo

The image that comes from the Mask field is a transparent image of the product, surrounded by a background. This background masks the area around the product image, preventing the display of any effects from its underlying elements. Because the image is transparent, any changes made to the underlying elements are only visible in the product part of the image.

Have a look at Wix Photo Studio Tools to see if you can create your mask through that, without having to have the need to go elsewhere.

You can easily create a mask in photoshop.

Otherwise, Wix do mention other third parties that you can use.

thanks again for all your help , greatly appreciated . That should solve the mask problem . In case I get stuck can you recommend anywhere i can go to find someone to do the coding for 2 web pages i have that require coding . I have comfortably built the rest of my site . The wix partners suggested all seem to be on a yearly fee basis which is not something I would be looking for .
thanks again for help and for any recommendations Fred

@bigfredforbes You may want to check out the WixArena - it’s a hub where you can look for Corvid (and other) experts for hire.

Hi there, I’m trying to use it but can’t get the colors of the background to work, how do I connect them ?

also the image upload won’t work either

Please add your own issue into a new post instead of bumping up an old post. Explain what you are trying to do, what works, and what doesn’t. Also, add any code in a code block as stated in the Forum Guidelines.
