I need to associate metadata with my subscriptions to reconcile on my backend.

My users are able to have multiple subscriptions, even of the same plan. I need to be able to associate metadata by adding that to the subscription. I’ve looked through the API docs and see no reference of providing metadata for subscriptions.
With this ability, it would be possible to show that metadata on the subscriptions when the user views them.
The issue I’m having is that if a user subscribes to the same plan the information shown to the user is just the plan name. My user can NOT differentiate between the two plans. Having the metadata (example Name: Test Name) would allow them to see/manage them.
