# Problem connecting gallery to database

Hi

I’ve created a database with a gallery field. Unfortunately, when I’m trying to connect it to the element in the item’s dynamic page, it appears to be blocked and greyed out. The only option I have is to connect it to a single image.

Any solutions?

Was able to check but if you want to connect a gallery field with all of the information set up in the content manager, [you would choose to connect to the gallery field](https://support.wix.com/en/article/displaying-collection-content-in-a-gallery#option-2-gallery-media-gallery-option) . This connects to the gallery inside the line item; you should see inside the _ **Connect a dataset** _ section.

There is the option to connect a gallery using [the default dataset option](https://support.wix.com/en/article/displaying-collection-content-in-a-gallery#option-1-default-dataset-option) in which you connect the image, title text individually. Technically you have multiple fields in this setup and then are displaying them together in the gallery.
