Problem converting site to editor x

I havnt been able to convert my site from the classical editor to editor X, and get stuck on 99 percent for hours

I have a lot of velo (several thousand lines of coding) on my page, I’m wondering if pre-existing velo might make the conversion process incompatible? Has anyone successfully converted a pre-existing velo site from the classical editor to editor X?

I can tell you from experience that most likely the conversion was completed, but it just didn’t know it.
