On E-commerce Wix stores, Wix editor gives us a feature to make a product collection. But it’s not good at all for the filter result. If we are creating a new page and adding a particular collection on it like mobile phone collection then the Wix editor filter won’t work, it will show 0 collections. Wix filter only works if you have selected all products under Shop option which will show all your products.
So, If we have to show a customer, the page having mobile phones on it, then it cannot be done because of a lack of filters. As per interaction through the mail, Advisor suggested that we should add more collections by name of 4g/5g/ram/battery capacity, etc but it will work only if the filter
(A) Will be within collection i.e each collection having its own filter section.
According to (A), Wix should let us create a filter within the collection by giving us the option to make a header & a subheader. For example- If a collection name is - Mobiles then Filter within the collection will give us the option to create header & subheader. 1. So, Collection name- Mobiles Filter Header- Network Subheader- 4g (So, it will show all 4g phones which we will select within the collection. The collection should allow us to add products under multiple filters
2. Collection name- Mobiles Filter Header- Processor Subheader- 1. Quad-Core 2. Octa-core etc. etc. & the same goes for women’s collection etc.
Wix should give us a feature by which we can make a filter within a collection, helping us filter products within the collection.The filtershould allow us to make a header & a subheader & sub-sub header.Once it has doneso whenever we will make a new page displaying only one collection then filter created withinthecollection can be shown on the page.
(1) If you will see image 1 attached with the main discussion then you will come to know that filter is showing 0 Collection under the collection option. (2) The Filter is only good when we are selecting all products, it’s not working when we are selecting only a particular collection or anyone collection. (Image attached with this comment- A Mark(5th image)). (3) Even if, after showing filter for one collection. It is not giving relevant results.You are expecting from us that we should create more and more collections and then on a separate page, select the multiple collections according to result. (2ND IMAGE) For example:- Collection name- Mobiles Now, to show mobiles according to the processor, battery capacity, etc. , your team wants to create more collections with name as:- Collection name- 4G, Collection name- 5G, Collection Name- Octa-core etc.Do you even know how many type results are available for mobiles?
YOU WANT US TO CREATE MORE THAN 50 COLLECTION JUST ONLY FOR ONLY MOBILES FILTER, REALLY?
