I am using a simple template for “Model Agency” the one with “Ella Models New York”. I want to put more models in the frame than those 8 who are originally in the template. But I can’t find the function. I can’t find how to put more models in that frame.
And does someone know: is there a limit, I mean, how many models can be displayed maximum before the page is slowing down? I have over a thousand models to display.
Maybe my question sounds a bit stupid for all you wise editor people here but I start getting a bit desperate….I really can’t find how to do it.
In terms of impacting the page speed, if there are thousands of model images you’d be including, bear in mind that users will have to load the images on their end which could impact the speed. Additionally pages with dozens of pages will take longer to load both within the Editor and on live sites.
With that said, I think it might be best for the amount of models you have to use a dynamic page setup since if you try using static pages, you’ll run into a limit of pages (the limit is 100 pages). Using dynamic pages will make it easier to setup, update and make changes going forward and the limit of items is only dependent on your premium plan. Plus since it’s one page that will change only the content based on the selection/slug, it’s faster than having multiple static pages.
