# Recaptcha on Wix Forms doesn't prevent SPAM

**Question:**  
How can I prevent SPAM with WIX forms? Recaptcha doesn’t help!

**Product:**  
WIX forms

**What are you trying to achieve:**  
Prevent SPAM form submissions.

**What have you already tried:**  
Added recaptcha field to the forms. Didn’t help.

**Additional information:**  
There is a note on the support article about recapthca saying that there is some kind of issue with the old WIX forms, but I don’t know what the status is. Recaptcha doesn’t necessarily stop spam, but should prevent it. The new Wix Forms come with Spam detection built in, and should automatically filter them into different tabs in the submissions table.

Are you experiencing something different?

Hi Noah, off course there is no 100% guarantee to stop spam. However, the amount of SPAM is significantly higher in the last months than before AND according to the post I referenced it is a known issue by WIX apparently:

My question is: is it allready fixed or is it still being looked into. We still receive a lot of SPAM.

It is out of control and my client is getting discouraged with MY performance because SPAM continues and is getting worse. It isn’t Russian language like WordPress spam, these are entries that look like real leads except zip codes and addresses don’t match.
