Redirect to custom login page instead of default wix Login

See Ella’s previous posts from earlier on in this forum thread that gives you the reason why…

Now that we have the login API, you can create your custom login page, and add a link from the signup custom page to the login page (eg., "already a member? click here to login ).

In addition, in the member signup settings panel, under the “which option shows first” section you need to select " New member signup ".

This way the default login page will never be triggered by an external application / restricted page / login bar, and only the custom signup page will be opened with a link to the custom login page.

Any other issues, then you are best asking in the Community Discussion part of the Wix Corvid Forum where lots of questions and answers are found as that is the main section to ask in.

This section of the forum is for any feature requests where Wix users can ask for anything that they wish to hopefully be implemented into future updates etc.

Thanks Ella Bar Or and givemeawhisky . Very useful. All working smooth, except that I would still have the “Login Bar” in the menu, and when presseing “Login” on this it will direct me to the standard Wix login in page, rather than my “Sign up page” or “my customised login page”. Would you have any solution to this?

All the best, Jakob

Yes, don’t use the Wix Members Login Bar.

Put simply for you, if you are using the Wix Members Login Bar, then you can’t edit it at all with any code.

Whatever it does on when the user logs themselves out is what you have to use.

Exactly like Steve has already stated on this previous forum post about it.

"Yes this is a big headache. The members NavBar that is installed with the Member “App” does not utilise any of the wixUser capabilities. Sadly it is a closed black box with no corvid access. As givemeawhiskey states above. The only way to customise the logout experience is to replace the login navBar and DIY :frowning: "

@sparkwix how did you use auto sync to solve this?

@sparkwix I have the same problem
