Remembering visitors

Probably this is a very standard question, but I don’t even know where to look…
I would like to display visitors a form, but only for those who have not completed it yet.
Looking for some cookie(?) solution to remember repeat visitors who have completed this form, so it’s not shown to them (until clearing their cache is ok) without needing them to register and sign in.

What would be the best approach?

Thank you, which function do you see being most relevant? I assumed that this question has been asked already as the use case seems to be quite standard. Could be that it’s easy to do and no one else needed help :slight_smile:
