is there a line of code that allows me to take an image of a media gallery from the database and remove it without removing the other images?

+1 on this. My site allows members to add and edit events. The create new event works fine. And editing an event is mostly ok. But when members edit an event the media gallery enables adding extra images, but I want members to be able to selectively delete images contained inside the one event they are editing.
My searching for solutions on web hasn’t yet been successful.
