Overflow can definitely bring a more engaging experience on your site.
The design of the scroll bars on the repeaters overflow are the default from the operating system/browser that you use to view the site. We definitely understand that if you are creating a design similar to Netflix that customizing them may be important, we are going to share this feedback with the rest of the team to discuss for future releases.
We believe that you are referring to the slideshow, we are working relentlessly to bring it to production as soon as possible. When we have an update we will share in the Updates & Releases category of this Forum.
In some cases, you may be able to achieve your goal by using the Layouter or Repeater with overflow.
