A new version of Wix Data client was previously GAed, it contained a bug that made it incompatible with our frontend-backend transport and caused distinct() to stop working when called from frontend code in Velo. Backend code was not affected.
Always when wix changes something in the environment, the user takes the risk while trying to debug own code (try to fix the issue), to destroy even all the code, instead of fix it (because the failure is wix-sided).
Such leck of quality can destroy sites.
Suggestion:
I already suggest the second or third time, to generate a “display window” directly in the Wix-Editor → to show people every (for the user important) changement in the VELO-ENVIRONMENT.
This way the user would be noticed immediately if some UPDATES are on the way/in action/comming soon, or some current ERRORs, which are in debug-mode, or whatever.
Just a suggestion.
This would prevent a lot of HEADACHES for both sides —> WIX & USERS.
EDIT:
I see the first LIKE (from a user) just after a few seconds. Seems to be a known issue.
What about to change something? —> Time for REVOLUTION
Everybody who have had already once such an situation, just like this post .
Or, should i generate new wish in the wishlist? But Wishlist is for VELO not for WIX, right?
Anyway —> VOTE (with a LIKE) for the suggested new EDITOR-FEATURE!
