What’s the most effective response you have to these types of statements to clients?

Wix is not responsive. Even though they added the mobile editor in the last update, it is still not responsive (which at this point, it should really be)
certain features have to be coded and if you are not familiar with code Wix can be limiting
Wix has been praised for the advanced features it has but certain features lack basic functionality like the upload buttons which only allows one upload
even though web builders such as Wix are useful and make life easier to create websites, it doesn’t mean it is the best option for you. it all depends on the complexity of your website. If your looking at a simple website and would need a CMS down the line, then yes a web builder is for you (if you don’t have the budget and time to build a CMS yourself) Wix is relatively cheap compared to other CMS but with it comes the downfalls it carries (the biggest one for me is responsiveness)
