@avirambe I’m having the same type of issue as Luke, where repeater images don’t show when the image source is changed programmatically. This is happening on my Editor X website www.lemurianstarchild.art though. I wonder if it is related, because I noticed the site is loading a lot faster but then not displaying the images?
In summary the problems I am seeing are mostly around rendering functions to do with .expand/.collapse and the mobile site not remembering the settings changed in the mobile view of the editor including button text alignment and font size
The types of things I am seeing are as follows:
Buttons that do not appear at all after calling .show
All page widgets ending up shifted down from their normal loction after .collapsing items (as if the .collapse makes the item dissappear but items below that one do not move upward to fill the place.
Font sizes in the mobile version not what they should be. As if the font-size changes applied in the mobile dev gui are not being taken up.
Button text alignment that has been set differently in mobile view to the desktop view are continuously reset in the mobile view to the same as the desktop view
Two days ago - site not rendering properly. Yesterday - site rendering properly. Today not rendering properly again! Please TEST MORE BEFORE RELEASING THE CHANGES - My customers are not happy. I’m not happy. It BREAKS sites. It makes wix feel like an unstable platform.
Notifications are broken. I have reported to Wix and finally got a response that the problem IS repeatable at the Wix end. I rely on the notifications! It they WERE working before for months and and are BROKEN now. Wix - see ticket number 1494995600
surely it would be the simplest thing in the world to build test sites that use automated testing to pick up these errors rather than use live customer websites for UAT.
My site speed is increased from 17 to 81 such amazing work is done by wix team. I cant imagine
Mobile speed is still low but I think that will also increase once the rollout is fully completed
Today I have had to close down my site to the public. I see that the same problems have kept coming up from 30 October. It’s now 13 days on and .expand .collapse are still failing due to this ‘rollout’. The problem has been fixed at least once, only to be broken again. I have put a notice on my site - unavailable due to problems at wix.com. Please roll back the changes and do more testing before inflicting this on us. I’ve spent today looking at Squarespace and others because of this. Wix - you can’t just expect our sites to fail over and over like this. DO MORE TESTING AND THEN RELEASE
I have the same problem. I got a response from Wix after several days that they can reproduce the problem at their end. I have heard nothing since. Because of this and because of the rendering bugs introduced with the latest Wix update, I’ve had to take my site down. It’s a community site with public screens on the street. I’ve put a notice up as to why it’s down. The whole town is watching. Others in the town who use other site builders like Squarespace and others are shaking their heads I feel sure.
I looked at the site, it seems to register the users, Can you please check again? if it still exist, please add a short video or screenshots of the issue
@jeffrey22 Hi. This issue should be fixed for your site. Please let me know if it is okay now. And also if you have other sites affected by the same issue. Thank you
Thank you for the detailed information and a video fragment. However, we weren’t able to recreate this console error on our side in multiple locations.
I’d like to request some additional data:
What is the OS version and Browser version on your computer?
Also, what is your Internet Provider name?
If possible, please try to repeat this scenario in a different browser and share your observations here.
