Hello Community,
I’m currently working on developing a Restaurant website that also allows guests in restaurants to conveniently place their orders through “Wix-Restaurants” online. However, I am facing a challenge, especially when it comes to “Dine-in” orders, and I would like to discuss it with you.
In Germany, it’s customary to pay after the dinner, particularly in upscale restaurants. However, this poses a potential risk as individuals who are not present in the restaurant may place orders through the website and provide false table numbers. This could lead to conflicts with the staff and guests.
My question to the community is: Do you have any ideas on how to make these “Dine-in” orders more secure without insisting on advance payment from the guests?
Perhaps there are innovative approaches or proven methods that have been successfully used in similar situations. Your experiences and suggestions are crucial to ensuring a secure and pleasant user experience on the website.
Greetings from Germany,
Daniel
