Setting up email triggers based on a change to the Content Manager

I would like to trigger an email to Project Owner when a change has been made to the Content Manager. For example, a Project Owner will submit content into 3 fields and then the Site Admin will submit content to 1 field. When the latter happens, I would like an email sent to the Project Owner notifying them this happened. The Automation emails don’t allow me to set up a rule for when the emails are triggered.
