Hi all, totally new user with no coding experience. I’m building a site with dynamic pages, it’s going well but I’m an Amazon Associate and I want to put the text + image links to Amazon products on my dynamic pages (in an iframe?). I’ve searched for an answer on here and elsewhere and it just eludes me.
I’ve found a guy who posted a fix where the link is in an iframe on a static page and then theres a link between the dynamic page and the static page. I’ve experimented and yes that works but it’s clunky, time consuming and doesn’t seem a great fix.
I’ve also seen comments on his solution saying it can be done better using onmessasge / postmessage and that there are plenty of posts and instructions in an api on how to do it but for the life of me I cannot find them.
I asked Wix support and got told “no you can only have an image in an image frame, text in a text frame etc when you link to a dataset”. I’m not convinced about that as a response.
So, as a starter question: Is it actually possible? I have a dynamic page with a repeater. I want to put an iframe in the repeater and have it show the amazon sitestripe image and text link so that people know what they are potentially buying.
Then as a follow up to that, if it is possible, where do I find the resources to start learning how?
