Hey can anybody help me please,
i want to place an slider on “Home” showing a preview of the first 3 sets of a dataset with Events.
The Events are mangend in a Dataset und shown in total on the Event page. On home i want to show a preview of the first 3 Events.
If i use a repeater – in the moment i link the content to the data base, it adds new boxes so that all sets of the dataset is shown.
If i use a plain container with text - it shows me in all thee only the first set of the dataset.
How can ich show only the fist 3 sets of the event dataset?

If I am understanding correctly you only want the first three items from a dataset to display on your homepage? Here is how I do it: I assign a number field to the dataset, name it “order” (or whatever works for you) and then put the items in the order I want them to appear 1, 2, 3 etc. Then I go to the Editor, Go to the item and into the dataset settings, Change “Maximum items displayed” and change it to 3 (or however many you want displayed). You are using the word datasets to describe a lot of things so I am going to reword your question….
How do you display the first 3 items of a database when a dataset is connected to a repeater?
You click on the dataset settings, select 3 as the maximum items to show and the you select Sort and choose oldest to newest, etc.
