Site Crash/Bandwidth Question

Hi There,

I’m deciding between WIX and Squarespace for building a small e-commerce site where we would sell pottery. It is a very small shop, but once a month we will be featured on a newsletter with over 600k subscribers. My client is worried that if even 1000 people click on the ad and are routed to my site, that the site will crash and we will use all the revenue.

  1. Should I be worried?

  2. Can this be avoided depending on the WIX plan I use? (Bandwidth wise)

  3. Is Squarespace preferable?

  4. Is Shopify preferable? I do not know how to code well, so the design capabilities are limited.

  5. Any other advice/choice?

Thanks!
Weller

Hey Weller! This article will help you to choose the best plan based on the bandwidth you need. Regarding the newsletter you need to send, we have Email Marketing plans that you can send to 1,000,000 email addresses per month. Don’t be worried! Wix rocks during Black Fridays and is the best choice for you  Here is an article how you can increase your sales. Good luck and let us know if you need more help!
