I feel exactly the same way. Sad news is that this is quite a regular thing with WIX. I started my online store here because I love the themes and it was the cheapest option. I’ve been here for 3 weeks now and I know I’m going to migrate to Shopify soon because WIX are slow at fixing their systems or even answering questions. I guarantee someone will stumble upon this in 5 years and it’ll be the same unanswered problem.
