Good morning Wix team,
I’m quite frustrated as I just purchased the Social Stream app only to find out you cannot remove captions. I absolutely LOVE the editor X platform but simple add-ons like Social Stream and a legit slide show that have yet to be introduced are convincing me to go elsewhere. The social media stream feature plays a huge role in cross-pollination, driving traffic from the website to social media, ultimately leading to follower growth and conversions since social media provides updated and real-time content.
I’ve advocated for Editor X for years and was an early beta tester. I’ve had high hopes that we’d at least see a social stream (without being forced to display lengthy captions) and slide shows for hero sections. Unfortunately, the apps provided not only cost more, but they feel much like an afterthought.
I’d really love to know if social streams and slideshows will be coming soon. I know you’re hard at work trying to please everyone but PLEASEEEE get these features on the platform soon. I’m sure the majority of the community would highly appreciate it!
