I would also like the “sort by” button to have a background color and a border radius, why can’t such simple things be done?
@JanneP The panel’s background should be able to be customized. Right now the filtering options have the same background color as the sort dropdown.
Try this:
Choose the Category Page > Settings (options that show on elements) > Design > General: Category List & Filters > Top options Background opacity & color

Unfortunately, I believe the settings shared by @pamela are the only ones available to customize the “Sort by” options.
