Spacing For Application Widgets

When you add an app such as Store or Blog, the widget will now be stretched to fill one section of your page. You can move it around and add margins & docking.

If you already have an app installed, you will have to reinstall it in order to control the widget position and layout.

how do you reinstall the app?

Any way this could be expanded to allow users to set a max width for apps?

It is actually already supported:
By default the application widget is stretched, therefore docked to all directions.
If you remove docking to either left or right, you will be able to set the max width property via the inspector.

First you will have to remove the application by deleting its main apge, for example, delete Store’s Shop page :

Then you should install the app again from the Add Panel or App Market.

Hi. So I reinstalled wix store to see if that would resolve it, but it didn’t. I’m having a problem with the product page. I can’t move it around or add margins to it.

It seems that you managed to reinstall Wix Store.
Now, go to Product Page, select the Product widget, and configure its layout/position via the inspector. You can also click the top right button on that widget to unstretch it:

that’s awesome! thank you, but i have a problem. Doesn’t show up for me.

Does the same rule apply for the Wix Fourm app? Latley the sizing of the app has ben so out of wack I havnt been able to use it

Yes you can add margins to the Forum widget via the inspector or by dragging the widget knobs.

I’m trying to add margins and adjust the docking of the bookings app pages, specifically the individual service and services pages. The stretch button doesn’t work and I get no position options. I just added the app a few days ago so didn’t try deleting and re-installing since that remedy was from 2020.

I was able to recreate this behavior
it seems that bookings got corrupted, this option should be available
what should help you is deleting the app from Editor X and Re-Adding it once again

@andrewt Thanks for the response Andrii. I’ve spent good amount of time adding services. Is there a way to recover the services I’ve created thus far once I re-install the app?
