I want to have a drop down with all 50 states, that take the user to the same page, on that page, I want the state_name to show whatever state that user is in so that I dont have to make 50 individual pages and if I make changes to that page I wont have to do it 50 times…
Test on page below “is the solution that you’ve been seeking to expand your legal practice in more cities, townships & counties in {STATE_NAME}, providing timely and accurate case leads for your specific area of expertise.”
You can do it by adding dynamic pages.
You will need to add a collection for all state names, then create a dynamic page and link it to the collection.
This will allow you to have a page per country without the need to edit it 50 times.
You can also connect your dropdown to that collection, and it should work as you described.
You can take the short version of the state name, if relevant (NY, MI, etc.), then it will be the same length.
Otherwise, I don’t have any easy solution at the moment.
