Status update on critical feature requests

@yisrael-wix

Maybe I’ve missed it, but perhaps you can kindly provide an update:

(1) Two factor authentication (2FA), at least for admin accounts.
(2) Bulk delete in collections from the Dashboard UI.

Hi,
As for the 1st request, you can vote for the feature here so as check the alternatives.

As for the bulk delete, you can choose multiple rows using by holding the ‘Ctrl’ button on Windows or ‘Command’ button on Mac OS and selecting the relevant rows. Then choose an action you wish to perform.

You can also select a big range of rows by holding the “Shift” key.

Thanks dude.

The “alternatives” don’t work for me, as they are not safe alternatives to proper 2FA.
Would not dare doing a commercial website without proper 2FA offered by Wix. Competitors all but make it mandatory.

(2) Bulk delete in collections from the Dashboard UI.
Cool gif, but that’s not bulk delete.
Now try what you suggested with a collection with tens of thousands of records … and delete 1000. Report back.

On a previous project that I worked on, we used OTP tokens on servers to secure access to the resource. At that time, we did not consider the built-in features but chose between Google Authenticator and 2fa platform with additional functionality and services. The choice fell on 2fa service because of the ability to configure extensive parameters, in addition, we preferred to use TOPT tokens and a higher level of protection for the administration. 2fa significantly improves the security of the service, so I always implement this feature in my work and recommend it to others. :grimacing:
