I run a local news service website (www.connectlocal.news), so retail is not my business at all, however, I am trying to add a page to the website where local artisans can feature their products. There would be no way to actually sell the products through my website (I have NO interest in playing banker or having to handle anyone’s money) and since we cant have 20 or 30 vendors each with their own pay method and account, I want to replace the “add to cart” button with a “link” button that says “contact seller to purchase” and the link takes them to each seller’s website, social media page, or email. I could try and create the same functionality and look from scratch using just image galleries, i suppose, but that would be a lot of work to make it as useful and appealing as the store setup, and I’m looking for the least time-intensive way to do this, so if i could figure out how to use the store app, without it really being a “store” with a shopping cart and all that… that would be great!
