Switching from Wix Studio back to Wix Basic - Will I lose the site I've been working on?

I’ve been working on a site for the past two weeks in the basic Wix editor. I wanted to try Wix Studio so I added a new site to my account to test out some of the templates and quickly realized that the basic editor is all I need for now

The problem now is that my account has automatically changed to a Wix Studio account which is not what I want. I found that there is an option to “Leave Wix Studio” under the workspace settings but I am unclear on what will happen when I do this.

I currently have the original site that still opens in the basic editor as well as the test site that opens in the Studio editor (very confusing!). Will I lose the site that Ive been making with the basic editor or will it still be there when the account goes back to basic? I don’t care what happens to the Studio test site.

I really don’t want to lose all of the work I have put in so far.

THe Wix Studio Account refers to the backend dashboard. Both sites - the Wix Editor and the Wix Studio Editor - should save under your account so you can access both from your main Wix Account.

If you want to revert back to the standard Wix dashboard and leave the Wix Studio workspace, here’s how you can do that:
