# Table Sortability?

Can the table element on user input fields by any means be sortable by users when rendered on the website for them at this time?

Hey,  
I’m not sure what you mean by “on user input fields” but you can sort the data in a table if the table is populated with data from a database collection. Use the [setSort()](https://www.wix.com/corvid/reference/wix-dataset/dataset/setsort) function to apply a sort to the [dataset](https://support.wix.com/en/article/about-datasets-6368396) connecting the collection data to the table.
