Right now you cannot put images in a repeater and have it fit its original format. If you want a user to input images in the database, the images will get cropped or stretched if not in the right format.

The ability to resize images to FIT not just auto/ stretch

This is pathetic that Wix doesn’t have the ability to work with images in an meaningful way. Buyer beware. I’m getting my money back.
