# Top background image is being cropped on mobile, disappears when scrolling, and colours display differently on phones

**I’m having trouble with**  
My top section background image is cutting off on mobile devices and only showing part of the image instead of the full image. I also want the top image/header to stay visible while scrolling down through the blog instead of disappearing. Another issue is that the asterisks/icons appear gold on desktop but purple on phones.

**What I’m trying to do**  
I want my blog homepage top image/banner to:

- show the full image properly on phones without cropping important parts out

- stay visible while scrolling through the page/blog

- keep colours consistent across devices so the asterisks stay gold instead of turning purple on mobile

**What I’ve tried so far**  
Changed image scaling between Fit/Fill/Tiles

1. Adjusted section height and overflow settings
2. Tried changing responsive/mobile layout settings
3. Checked colour settings in desktop editor
4. Tested different image sizes/layouts

**Extra context**  
The issue mainly happens on mobile view. The image looks correct in the Wix Studio preview/editor but cuts off when opened on an actual phone. The header image also disappears once scrolling starts and I would prefer it to remain visible or sticky while reading the blog posts.

I think I had a similar crop issue.

Did you adjust the image in mobile breakpoint in Wix Studio, not only for desktop?

If that keeps breaking, maybe use a separate mobile version of the banner image. For example, a taller/portrait crop instead of the same wide desktop banner.

As for scrolling, check whether you want it to be a sticky section or a pinned element. Sticky elements/sections can stay visible when they reach the viewport, and you can adjust the offset from the top.

For the gold icons turning purple on mobile, no idea currently, sry
