Hello, I would like to track call to action buttons with Facebook event tracking. I have the event code from Facebook, but I am unsure where to add it. It’s not in the Tracking and Analytics section of the ‘manage website’, as I have been advised, since this would be tracking the people who landed on the page. I want to go deeper with tracking and actually track who clicked specific buttons on a page. Can you help please?
Hi,
Please checkout this post regarding this matter.
Best,
Tal.
Thank you.
Hi Tal, would you mind sharing the post which explains how to actually implement the code? I’ve read the article you posted, and the subsequent post on trackEvent() function in the API, but from what I can see they don’t actually explain how to implement the code on the site.
Facebook and Analytics event tracking are basic but critical abilities for all businesses. I’m pleased Wix has created the functionality to use them, however for all of us ‘non-techies’ (ie. Wix’s target audience!) the documentation available to date doesn’t actually enable us to use them (unless I’m missing something!)
Any further help you can offer would be much appreciated.
Thanks Natalie
@Daniel, thanks for sharing your post, however this post is about tracking ‘Call to action’ buttons, not Call Tracking.
