@homeenglishuk FWIW, I think that – at the time I did it – transitioning a site from Wix to Editor X wasn’t a common occurrence, and so the support people didn’t have experience doing it. The support guy I worked with was just persistent in figuring that out and determining how it could be done. It was clearly an improvised solution.
Maybe it would help if you suggested that solution.
It may still be the case that it’s an unfamiliar process. The other sites I’ve transitioned I did at the same time the plans renewed, so I could just let the Wix plan die while buying a new Editor X plan.
