Trigger Email Domain Date/Time Link

I have a triggered email that pulls content from the a column of a collection in the Date/Time format as text. I would like to only show the first part (the date), but it shows the entire thing. Is there any way that I can truncate this, or create a data field in the collection just for Date?

(Eg. Field displays as “2019-02-18T05:00:00.000Z to 2019-02-28T05:00:00.000Z”)

Try using date to string method:

Date.toLocaleDateString() for example.
