I set up a custom data form for my client that uses automation to mover her customers through a lease request/approval process. When visitors fill out the form it creates a contact card in her Wix workflow, which then moves through each step of the process as she interacts with it. The problem is that some visitors are somehow bypassing the email and phone field even though I have it set as required. Without that information, Wix doesn’t seem to be able to create the contact card in the workflow (they still show up in the contact LIST). My client then has to go in and manually create a contact card in the workflow for them, which defeats the purpose of the automated system. This has happened 4-5 times now, so it’s not some weird fluke.
I haven’t been able to figure out how they’re bypassing the field validation. I’ve tried submitting the form on chrome, safari, and firefox and the validation works just fine. It won’t let me submit the form without an email and phone number. Could it be that the customers ARE filling out those fields but the data isn’t being parsed correctly for some reason? And why does it only happen for some visitors? How can I figure out the breakdown if I can’t recreate the issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if you can just tell me where to look.
Thanks!
