Trying to position a decorative element behind text

Dear community

In our design for a client, we have a design element behind a text. See:

I have placed the design element in a separate container behind the text container. When I dock the design element to the section or the page, I don’t have the control over its behavior on smaller screens. See:

So I’m looking for someone who can help me with that. Do you guys have any creative work arounds how I can place the element correctly so that it works on all breakpoints?

Thanks for your question.

Here’s a helpful response from Nathan, one of our Editor X Community Leaders :

“I’ve actually done this multiple times, make a grid with 4 columns, text in first 3 column and set each column to auto with the last one set to 1fr. Then put your element in one of the first 3 columns, it will span the width of the text in that column… hope that makes sense!” Thanks to Nathan for the helpful response!
