Using 2 search engines in different ways.

I am currently creating a Wix site that would benefit from having 2 distinct search engines.

The home page would have a standard Google Wiz connected search engine enabling users to search every page on the site.

The shop page however should really have a search engine that crawls product names only so that users can search for specific products in the shop availability.

It may be that I can achieve this goal within one search engine but I am assuming I need tow from two different Apps? Can someone kindly clarify this requirement first?

Second, if this type of customisation requires additional coding or naming, could someone kindly offer to help at the appropriate time (i.e. when the site is live or at beta stage?

many thanks
David

If you wanted a search just for your product names only for example, then just simply set up the query to search only the dataset that contains your product names.

For more info on Wix Stores then have a look at Wix Support’s own pages for Wix Stores.

Can I still use the same search App on my home page with a query that allows a general search of the entire site or would I need to use a separate search engine for that function?

Can I ask a question of avid mobile designers. What is the current optimum body text size for mobile pages. To my understanding and Google’s it’s no less than 16 pixels? Also is it possible to edit code more extensively in Wix mobile?
