I built a database collection using the photos in a gallery. It works perfectly until I set up filtering the photos. If the data filtered does not fill the gallery, the photos are displayed still using the space allocated for the gallery. Please see the attached image. Is there a way to fix this? I am thinking using repeater, however, it’s a little late for that.
Couldn’t figure out how to tag Purslowe Web Design.
Hey mate
Sorry I’m struggling to see what you mean. So you have a gallery connected to a dataset? And say 100 items in a database, if you filter the database down to say 10 items what happens sorry?
Cheers
See the photo attached? If there are not enough photos to fill the gallery on the page, it stretches the pictures out the fill the space.
If the gallery is 760 px. wide and the height is 500px if there are not enough photos to accommodate that space, it forces the photos that are there to take up the space.
Right. I get what your saying,
Have you tried a different gallery type?
Cheers
No I haven’t. Not sure why that would make a difference.
I have found Some change the way they render, for example I find masonary works the best when connected to data.
@purslowewebdesign Thank you! I will try it.
