# Using npm package for camera access

**Introduction:**  
I trying to take photo of user and store it in CMS. I want the user to select the biometric photo button on which the web browser will ask for user consent for opening camera of device. Then with the take photo button I want the user to take photo from user’s device and then upload.

Is there a npm package that can help me achieve this?

I have attached 2 screenshots. I have created this using the mutli-step layout. Please can somebody help?

What you have already done?

1. You have some already generated (not working) code?
2. You have already found and read some POSTS related to your issue?
3. You can provide a datailed SETUP + DESCRIPTION )PICS) ?
4. Your intention is to take a BIOMETRIC-PHOTO directly from CAM ?

At this point, my question would be → If it is possible to use normal CAM-PICs as → BIOMATRIC-PHOTOS (i don’t know) → BIOMETRIC-PHOTOS should be done in professional photo-studios which have the special equipment for that, out of my knowledge.

Anyway, back to your issue. In the past i also dealt with similar problems.  
**!!! To solve your issue won’t be easy !!!**

You will face several restrictions, which you will have to **WORK-AROUND**.
