Vectors can't resize one side anymore?

I just started a new site and noticed that my imported SVG files no longer let me change the size from just one side. Now the “scale proportionally” box is GRAYED OUT and all SVG files now only scale from the corners (so you have a lot of extra space on tops/bottoms).

This is definitely a new change to Editor X, and I went back to older sites and it’s been imposed on them too.

When you want to create a full-width vector graphic, this is going to make it really difficult to scale the box so that you get right to the edge. I hope this is making sense but wanted to hear from @editorx95114 and any other designers if they’ve noticed this and how they’re dealing with it?

@editorx95114 team, can this be changed back? It adds a LOT of extra steps to resize a vector and so many of us build our entire sites with SVGs.

Thank you!

Hey,
You need to toggle off the “Keep original porportion”

Thanks but no thats not it, I had tried it. And you never needed to do it before.

when you toggle this off, your vector shape will become distorted As you resize.

What I’m trying to do (and what editor x has always done before) is remove extra space at the top and bottom of the bounding box when you add an SVG, by dragging the top or bottom up/down. Now it forces a square.

@josh60338 Can you check again? It should be changed back to the previous behavior.
