Why is website responsiveness not implemented yet?
- For this who don’t know, Wix isn’t like Wordpress, com, Weebly, or Squarespace which are template editing softwares. Wix is a drag/drop website building software by means of design and development. Your website is completely customizable, so Wix can’t decide for you on how it should look on different screen sizes, unlike pre-made templates from other services.
Whats a possible work around?
A potential work around feature that could provide us with responsive websites to load perfectly on different screen sizes, is to add a similar feature as Mobile compatibility. Instead, it would be screen size compatibility (or whatever). Meaning after you finish creating your website, you can edit the way it looks on different screen resolutions. These different versions would load when a certain screen size is user visits the page.
I can’t be the only one who has thought of this and there’s probably a catch to why this feature wasn’t implemented years ago, perhaps storage and site loading speeds would be an issue. I am just leaving this here in the case that no-one thought of this.
