After making a a number of edits to my website yesterday (Dec 8), all of them seem to be gone today (Dec 9). I looked at the Site History, and noticed an entry from early this morning with the “Manually Saved Automatic Update” notation on it. I also saw my own last save from yesterday with “Manually Saved Site Owner” on it. It seem like whatever this early morning save did (which I did not do), it wiped out my changes.
Can anyone explain what “Manually Saved Automatic Update” is?
Site URL is naturallakes.net.
(Note → It is from my experience. There are also Wix Experts here …)
To your query…
It is probably because →
Wix has an auto save function which will save the site automatically without the user clicking the save button …
The Manually Saved by Site Owner is the version which you saved by clicking the save button .
The other is the version with the auto-save function …
You can disable the auto-save function by pressing the keys (in the keyboard) →
Ctrl + Shift + A

Hope it helps !!!
