What is the best way to build a simple "click on" picture carousel (without arrows, buttons and previews) in my editor x page?

Editor X has a Gallery in the Quick Add section that you can use. Within the Settings > Layouts you can choose the Slide Show and then opt to HIDE the arrows there. There are no thumbnails in this one.
