The exact same thing happens with me whenever I use Text scaling on any site in Editor X. To overcome this issue, I manually backspace the text and then enter the precise size I want, instead of using the arrow buttons. If I need a couple of pixels larger or smaller, I have to manually input the precise digits every time. I hope the team looks into this and resolves the issue.
