I am currently finishing an Editor X website for my college application. Now, I got the notification that Editor X will shut down and be merged with Wix Studio in the coming months.
Since the website I have don’t have domain name, they are still titled with editorx.io/…, I am afraid if the website got merged, the link will change to wixstudio/… and the original link won’t work anymore. Should I apply a domain name just in case?
In addition, when the website is merging, will it affects the LIVE status for my website at some point? This is very important for me, I need to make sure this website with my current link will work all the time after January.
