Our website has been up for about two years. I still continue to get emails like the following on a regular basis:
“i tried logging in and was told my password was incorrect. I followed the instructions for a password reset and I still cannot login. Please advise. Thanks”
When this happens, I go to website Dashboard/Site Members and check the email address used for login. It invariably shows a few months since last login. This latest once showed last login April 28, 2019.
I have logged support tickets with Wix Support and they tell me the accounts do not go to “inactive state”. I beg to differ, I have had far too many occurrences of this issue. The ONLY way around it is to delete that email from the Site Members and have the user click on Sign-Up from the Login Window.
This has become so commonplace that we have posted an article in the latest hard copy CVOA magazine that it is a bug with instructions to email me so I can delete the existing login.
Can someone from Wix Development weigh in on this please?
