Why wix payments asks me to add an IBAN number

Question:
Why wix payments asks me to add an IBAN number in my bank account number if my bank account is in USA?

Im trying to change my bank account to receive payments

Additional information:
I changed my address so I’m trying to change my account number from a bank in spain to an american one

I might be wrong, but the fields could be determined by your Wix account settings/location.

For example, if located in an area where Wix Payments requires an IBAN number/your Wix account settings are for an area that would require an IBAN number, then it’s defaulting to show that field.
