My company is looking into changing our website over to Wix (currently using Squarespace). It is very user-friendly, but I am worried some of our techstack might not work with it. I have been trying to figure out if they will work and I am at a dead-end. Please help or point me in the right direction of someone that can. We are a hospitality/travel company that operates similarly to a hotel with multiple locations.

Without earning myself a doctorate trying to understand all of the information that you linked to, I don’t see any reason why you can’t perform those tasks.

The Wix Code infrastructure is rich and comprehensive. I am sure much of what you want to do can either be done natively in Wix Code, or by accessing external services.

To access external services, Wix Code provides wix-fetch , a robust API for interfacing with 3rd party APIs. You can find more information in the article Accessing 3rd-Party Services .

I would suggest reviewing the Wix Code documentation and API . Feel free to post your questions here for assistance and clarification.

Wanting tor integrate the clipchamp api (video recorder/video upload) Can’t seem to get it to work through iframe as I did last year. Is it still possible? Thanks in advance…

Nothing has really changed in the HtmlComponent. Has the Clipchamp API changed? Are your Clipchamp credentials up-to-date and valid?

For increased security it is recommended to access a 3rd party API via backend code. You can refer to the Example: Send email with the SendGrid REST interface for more information.

@yisrael-wix are there any specific domains thats have to be whitelisted to get the Clipchamp collect api to work properly that you know of?

@yisrael-wix Checked with Clipchamp Team. Nothing has changed on their end. Its just not working for them as well. Regarding the suggestion of using a backend service call is a way to implement our API in the code of my website though this would have to be done by a developer my team, Clipchamp doesn’t have the capacity in their team to support this kind of implementation development work at this time. …I am just confused as to why although nothing has changed on WIX and Clipchamp over the past year or so why things are not functioning the same. Really don’t want to move to a Wordpress site at this time. Needing a little help with this issue if possible…
