What I’m trying to do is is link via html code to a Google form on my site, through a button. Yes, I can embed the code straight onto the page, but that looks ugly. I just need a custom button that can kickstart the Google form.

You do not need custom HTML code to link a button to a Google Form in Wix. Wix natively handles external links on buttons, which opens the form cleanly in a new tab or popup without embedding the ugly form directly on your page.
Open your page in the Wix Editor. Click **+ Add Elements** on the left menu, select **Button** , and choose a design you like.
Click the **Link** icon (chain-link symbol) on the button toolbar.
1. Choose **Web Address** from the left panel.
2. Paste your Google Form URL under _What’s the Web Address (URL)?_.
3. Select **New window** so users stay on your site while completing the form.
