Hello dear Community!
I would like to share with you a few updates about our events in November.
Last month, 11 Wix Partners and the Wix Community team organized 19 events in 8 countries to an audience of over 700 .
These events happened globally in Australia, Brazil, Colombia, France, Japan, Portugal, UK and the USA. The audience was full of entrepreneurs, SMBs, students, and refugees. They all had a common goal: to improve their online presence with Wix.

In Miami, the Community team collaborated with Cari Perez from General Assembly, in the first Miami GA event. The topic was “How to Prep Your Website for Black Friday & Cyber Monday”.
Wix also hosted a new type of event, Closing Clients, where we featured several panels of agencies and their clients and spoke about their business relationship and growth.
In San Francisco, Vivian Hernandez held an event in our office where 20 Brazilian executives aimed to learn about Wix success and its strategy.
LATAM Project - Helping Refugees
The highlight of November was two events for refugees entrepreneurs in Bogota/Colombia which were led by Carlos Moya and Daniel Ortiz Aguirre . These events were in collaboration with ACNUR, an agency of ONU and the local Chamber of Commerce. In these events, over 30 displaced entrepreneurs learned how to improve their online presence.
In Brazil, I had the pleasure of speaking alongside Vivian Hernandez about how Wix is helping refugees. In the event in Rio de Janeiro, we brought together representatives of NGOs, the private sector, and refugees with an audience of over 70.
Congratulations for all these amazing events!!
